Annapurna Mess

“Nourishing bodies, nurturing minds.

”At Dr. Cyrus Poonawalla International School, we believe that nutrition plays a vital role in a child’s overall growth, well-being, and academic success. The Mess Committee, in collaboration with the school management, ensures the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and service for all students and staff.

A unique aspect of our system is the active involvement of parents, who are invited to be a part of the Mess Committee. This collaborative approach promotes transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement, allowing direct interaction with the department and ensuring that every concern or suggestion is thoughtfully addressed.

The committee oversees all aspects of food management, including menu planning, quality control, hygiene standards, and overall dining experience. Meals are carefully curated to cater to diverse tastes and nutritional needs, offering a balanced blend of cuisines—from traditional Indian meals to selected international dishes.

Serving over 1,200 students, faculty, and staff, the mess operates with efficiency and consistency, providing four wholesome meals a day, seven days a week. A dedicated and well-trained team works tirelessly to ensure that every meal is prepared with care, hygiene, and attention to detail.

The Mess Committee also maintains an active feedback system, encouraging suggestions and constructive input from students and parents. This ensures continuous refinement in quality, taste, and service standards.

More than just a dining facility, the school mess is a space where students feel cared for—especially those residing away from home. It plays a crucial role in supporting their health, energy, and daily performance.

At DCPIS, the mess is not just about food—it is about care, community, and comfort, making every student’s journey truly fulfilling.

Driven by care, inspired by smiles.
