Obstacle Course

The Obstacle Activity is an essential component of the Services Selection Board (SSB) process, which evaluates candidates for entry into prestigious defence services. Recognizing the importance of early preparation, Dr. Cyrus Poonawalla International School has developed a well-designed Obstacle Course within the campus to provide students with structured physical training and exposure to such activities.

This facility enables students to practice a variety of obstacle-based tasks that help build physical strength, stamina, agility, balance, and endurance. Regular engagement in these activities not only improves fitness levels but also instills qualities such as courage, determination, quick decision-making, and the ability to overcome challenges—traits that are crucial for success in defence services.

The Obstacle Course also familiarizes students with the type of tasks they may encounter during the SSB selection process, giving them a valuable head start in their preparation for competitive entry into the defence forces. Trained instructors guide students through these activities, ensuring safety while encouraging them to push their limits and build confidence.

Beyond preparing students for entry into institutions like the NDA, the initiative contributes significantly to their overall personality development by fostering discipline, leadership qualities, and a spirit of teamwork. It reflects the school’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals who are physically fit, mentally strong, and ready to take on challenging career paths.
