DISCIPLINE
Regular attendance is compulsory. Planned absences before or after holidays will not be permitted.Attendance in the morning assembly is mandatory.Students must wear a neat and clean uniform as per the prescribed pattern.Students must take care of school property. Any damage caused will result in a penalty.Silence must be maintained in corridors and stairways during school hours, as well as while moving to labs, the library, or activity classes.Students are expected to communicate in English at all times within the school premises.

INSTRUCTIONS
On birthdays, students may wear civil dress. However, tight clothes, sleeveless outfits, sweets, or gifts are not allowed. Books or plants may be gifted to the school instead.Parents should meet concerned teachers only on scheduled open days or when requested by the school.Criticism of teachers should be avoided in the presence of children.Any change in residential address or contact number must be promptly informed to the school.Communication in English is compulsory.Parents and students must maintain the dignity and respect of teachers at all times.Parents are required to use the ERP system to communicate concerns or queries.

ABSENTEEISM
A medical certificate and prescription must be submitted for absences exceeding two days due to illness.There is no provision for half-day leave. Unwell students should not attend school, even during examinations.If a student leaves school during exam/test hours, they will be marked absent for that day’s exam.Absence during examinations is permitted only for participation in District /National/ International sports events (with prior permission) or valid medical reasons supported by documentation.Parents must provide a written explanation for any absence. Students reporting without a note may be sent back, and parents may be summoned.Students returning after infectious or contagious diseases must submit a doctor’s fitness certificate.

Quarantine Guidelines:
Chickenpox – Until all scabs fall off
Cholera – As certified by a doctor
Measles – Two weeks after the rash subsides
Mumps – Until swelling subsides
Whooping Cough – As certified by a doctor
Hepatitis – As certified by a doctor
COVID-19 – As per doctor’s advice (generally 14 days)
- Students requiring medical attention during school hours will be sent to the infirmary, and records will be maintained.
- Parents will be informed immediately in case of serious illness or emergency.
- Any change in the regular pick-up procedure must be communicated at least two working days in advance. Phone requests will not be entertained.
- Parents must inform the school in advance if the child is using transport other than the school bus.

SCHOOL BUS FACILITY
Students must be at the pick-up point at least five minutes before the bus arrives.Bus stops will be arranged at convenient locations near students’ residences.Any misbehavior or damage to the bus will lead to suspension of the facility.Buses will not wait for late students.If no one is present at the drop point, the child will be brought back to school, and parents must collect them.Pick-up and drop points will remain the same.Change of address does not guarantee continuation of bus service and is subject to availability.Food items are not allowed on the bus.

A. PUNCTUALITY & ATTENDANCE
- Students are expected to report to school at least ten minutes before the scheduled time.
- A minimum of 80% attendance is mandatory for the academic year.
- Attendance on the first and last working day before and after vacations is compulsory. In unavoidable circumstances, prior written permission from the Principal must be obtained.
- Students participating in after-school sports or co-curricular activities are not permitted to remain absent from regular classes.
- Leave will not be granted for family vacations, celebrations, ceremonies, or overseas travel.

B. UNIFORM AND GROOMING

I.Uniform
- Students must attend school in complete prescribed uniform, including socks and approved school shoes, unless informed otherwise.
- Wearing the school ID card at all times is compulsory.

II.Grooming
- The responsibility for a student’s appearance lies with both the student and parents.
- Maintaining a neat and disciplined appearance is essential for a positive learning environment.
- Students must be neatly dressed and well-groomed, maintaining proper personal hygiene.Clothing that is inappropriate or revealing (including exposed shoulders, midriff, or low-waist attire) is strictly prohibited.Accessories and extra attire such as jewellery, sunglasses, hats, scarves, bandanas, fancy watches, bangles, etc., are not permitted.

For Girls
- Only simple studs or small earrings are allowed.
- Hair must be neatly combed, and long hair should be tied in two plaits with white bands.
- Nail polish, long nails, mehendi, or hair colouring are not permitted.

For Boys
- Earrings or ear studs are not allowed.
- Hair must be short and neatly trimmed, not touching the collar or forehead.
- Fancy hairstyles and hair colouring are strictly prohibited.
- Alteration of trousers/track pants or improper grooming may attract a fine.

Note: Any exceptions due to religious or personal reasons require prior written permission from the Principal/Vice-Principal.


C. BEHAVIOUR AND ETHICS
- Students are accountable for their behaviour both within and outside the school premises.
- Acts such as bullying, fighting, threats, theft, or any misconduct will invite strict disciplinary action.
- Students must respect school property and others’ belongings. Any damage will result in penalties.
- Maintaining cleanliness is essential. Waste must be disposed of only in designated bins.

D. ESSENTIALS TO BE CARRIED

Pre-Primary
- Study material as per the timetable
- Tiffin

- Empty water bottle
- Extra set of clothes

Primary
- Study material as per the timetable
- Labelled school bag
- ID card and school diary
- Reader (if provided)Pencil box with basic stationery

Secondary
- Study material as per the timetable
- Labelled school bag

- Reader (if provided)
- Pencil box with stationery and geometry box
- Empty water bottle

E. ITEMS NOT PERMITTED IN SCHOOL

- Expensive or flashy items such as fancy watches, jewellery, or costly stationery
- Electronic gadgets including mobile phones, iPods, gaming devices, CDs, etc.
- Junk food, chocolates, cold drinks, chewing gum, and makeup kits
Note: Any prohibited items will be confiscated and not returned, and disciplinary action will be taken.

F. LOST AND FOUND
- The school is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.
- Parents must report lost items to the Help Desk within 2 working days.
- If not found within this period, the item will be considered permanently lost.
Note: Attendance at Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) along with the child is mandatory.

G. LIBRARY GUIDELINES
- Students may borrow one book at a time for a period of one week.
- Reference books, magazines, and audio-visual materials are not issued.
- Books may be renewed by presenting them at the library.
- Students must submit a book review after reading.

Fines
- Late return: ₹5 per day
- All dues must be cleared before the next book is issued

H. PARENTS SMART CARD (PSC)
- The PSC serves as an authorized identity for parents/guardians.
- Only registered members (up to four) listed on the PSC are permitted to visit the school or pick up the child.
- This system ensures safety and security of students.

I. GATE PASS POLICY (GPP)
To ensure safety and smooth functioning:
1. Gate pass requests must be submitted one day in advance with proper details.
2. Requests via phone calls will not be accepted.
3. Bus facility will not be available for early departures.
4. Parents must personally collect the child.
5. Carrying the Parent Smart Card (PSC) is mandatory.
6. Only authorized PSC members will be allowed entry.
7. In case of emergency (e.g., illness), parents must still follow the same procedures.
