A Memorable International Student Exchange at DCPIS

Dr. Cyrus Poonawalla International School firmly believes that immersive learning experiences broaden horizons, enhance global awareness, and nurture respect for diverse cultures. Student exchange programmes provide invaluable opportunities for young learners to explore different educational practices, languages, traditions, and lifestyles while fostering meaningful international friendships.
With this vision, DCPIS had the privilege of welcoming eight students from Italy on 13 July 2026 for a special cultural exchange programme. The visit offered a vibrant platform for students from both countries to interact, exchange ideas, and gain insights into each other’s culture, traditions, education system, and way of life.
The day was filled with engaging conversations, interactive activities, cultural exchanges, and joyful moments. Students enthusiastically shared their thoughts and perspectives, played games together, sang songs, and celebrated the spirit of friendship beyond geographical boundaries. The warm interactions created an atmosphere of mutual respect, curiosity, and learning, leaving everyone with cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
The entire exchange programme was thoughtfully initiated and organised under the dynamic leadership of Principal Ms. Shivani Chavan Potdar, whose vision of providing global exposure to students reflects the school’s commitment to holistic education. Her initiative opened new avenues for intercultural learning, inspiring students to become confident, compassionate, and globally responsible citizens.
The visit concluded on a heartwarming note, reinforcing the belief that education transcends borders and that meaningful connections built through such exchanges pave the way for a more united and harmonious world.
