Teachers’ Day Celebration

Dr. Cyrus Poonawalla International School celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm, warmth and heartfelt gratitude, honouring the unwavering dedication, commitment and invaluable contribution of its educators. The celebration was graced by Principal Ms. Shivani Chavan Potdar; Administrative Officer Mr. Sagar Patil; Vice-Principals Mr. Sagar Pharande, Ms. Minal Patil and Ms. Ashwini Patil; and NTT Coordinator Ms. Ashlesha Patil, whose presence added warmth and grandeur to the occasion. As a special tribute to their teachers, the Grade 10 students stepped into the role of teachers and conducted classes, experiencing firsthand the responsibility, patience and dedication required to make learning meaningful. The experience gave students a deeper appreciation of the challenging yet noble work that teachers undertake every day. The students also presented a vibrant cultural programme as a heartfelt expression of their love and gratitude towards their teachers. The celebration came alive with melodious singing, graceful dance performances and engaging games, creating an atmosphere filled with joy, laughter energy and togetherness. The celebration beautifully reflected the essence of Teachers’ Day- a day to acknowledge those who do much more than teach lessons; they inspire curiosity, nurture confidence, shape character and illuminate the path towards a brighter future. The occasion provided students and teachers with a cherished opportunity to step beyond the boundaries of the classroom and celebrate the special bond of trust, respect and affection that they share. The day concluded with delightful memories, heartfelt appreciation and a renewed recognition of the noble and transformative profession of teaching.
