Investiture Ceremony 2026–27
Leadership is not merely about holding a position; it is about inspiring others through responsibility, integrity, and service. At Dr. Cyrus Poonawalla International School, Peth Vadgaon, the Student Council serves as a platform for nurturing young leaders by fostering essential life skills such as leadership, communication, teamwork, organisation, confidence, and public speaking.
A grand and dignified Investiture Ceremony was organised on Friday, 26 June 2026, to formally induct the newly elected Class Council and Student Council for the academic year 2026–27. The ceremony marked the beginning of a new chapter of commitment, responsibility, and exemplary leadership.
The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Hon. Dr. Ashokrao Mane, MLA, Hatkanangale, and the Guest of Honour, Hon. Mrs. Vidya G. Pol, Chairperson, DCPIS. Both dignitaries appreciated the impeccable discipline displayed by the students and congratulated the school for the meticulously planned and flawlessly executed programme. In his inspiring address, the Chief Guest encouraged the young leaders to embrace every responsibility with sincerity, dedication, and perseverance, emphasising that the youth of today possess the potential to scale remarkable heights with the right guidance and determination.
One of the most memorable moments of the ceremony was the presentation of badges and appointment letters to the newly elected leaders by their parents and the esteemed dignitaries, symbolising the trust and confidence reposed in them.
The solemn Oath-Taking Ceremony was administered by the Principal, Ms. Shivani Chavan Potdar, wherein the newly elected Student Council pledged to uphold the values, vision, and rich traditions of DCPIS with honesty, commitment, and unwavering dedication.
Speaking on behalf of the Student Council, Head Girl Ms. Jiya Patel, Head Boy Mast. Tanishq Chougule, and Jr. Head Boy Mast. Shourya Kokate expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the management, Principal, teachers, and fellow students for placing their faith in them. They assured everyone of their sincere efforts to lead by example and strive tirelessly to take the Student Council to even greater heights.
The Investiture Ceremony concluded on a note of pride and optimism, reaffirming the school’s unwavering commitment to nurturing responsible, confident, and compassionate leaders who will contribute meaningfully to society.
