Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony

Recognising dedication and consistent effort nurtures confidence and motivates young minds to dream bigger. With this noble intention, Dr. Cyrus Poonawalla International School, Peth Vadgaon celebrated its Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony on 27th February 2026 with grandeur and enthusiasm.
The ceremony stood as a proud testament to the students’ commendable performance across scholastic and co-scholastic domains. While Academic Excellence formed the core of the awards, equal importance was given to achievements in Inter-House Competitions, General Championship, Co-curricular and Extra-curricular Activities, and the distinguished 100% Attendance Award. The school ensured that deserving students from every class and section were honoured, thereby promoting inclusivity and encouraging holistic development.
The medals, trophies and certificates were graciously conferred by the Principal, Dr. Sardar Jadhav, along with other respected dignitaries. Addressing the gathering, the Principal applauded the winners for their perseverance and urged all students to pursue excellence with sincerity, discipline and unwavering determination. He emphasised that awards are milestones in the journey of learning, but character and values define true accomplishment.
The celebration gained special significance as it coincided with Marathi Bhasha Gaurav Din and National Science Day. The programme was beautifully enriched with inspiring speeches, a meaningful skit, energetic dance performances and soulful musical renditions. Each presentation reflected creativity, cultural pride and scientific temperament, captivating the audience and adding splendour to the occasion.
The coveted General Championship Trophy was triumphantly bagged by Akash House in the Primary Section and Prithvi House in the Secondary Section, celebrating their unity, leadership and sustained excellence throughout the academic year.
The ceremony concluded with a sense of fulfilment and renewed motivation, leaving everyone inspired by the belief that dedication, when combined with opportunity, transforms potential into achievement.
