Rakshabandhan Celebration
“A Bond of Love, A Bond of Togetherness, A Thread That Protects Forever!”
Dr. Cyrus Poonawalla International School celebrated Rakshabandhan on 28th August 2026 with great enthusiasm and festive spirit. A special cultural programme was organised to highlight the significance and mythological importance of the festival. Students shared their emotions through speeches, dance, songs, skit, etc adding meaning to the celebration. The girls performed the traditional Aukshan ceremony and tied Rakhis on the wrists of their brothers, praying for their happiness, prosperity, long life, and well-being. The sacred thread beautifully symbolised love, care, respect, and togetherness. Principal Mrs. Shivani Chavan Potdar extended her heartfelt greetings and emphasised the importance of celebrating festivals that preserve our rich cultural heritage and values. The campus was filled with joy, warmth, and festive cheer, making the celebration truly memorable.
